The Saudi Smart Meter Project is the significant project implemented by Saudi Arabia to realize the 2030 vision. It is an important part of Saudi Arabia’s construction of smart grids and smart cities. It is also the largest single-scale smart meter project in the world.

Project Description:
The Saudi smart meter project covers 9 regions in western and southern of Saudi Arabia, including master station system, smart meters, data concentrator units, etc. The project is implemented by China Electric Power Equipment and Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of State Grid Corporation of China. Holley won the tender on January 8th 2020 and completed the delivery of the first batch of smart meters and data concentrator units on February 2nd 2020. As of March 30th 2021, Holley has cooperated with China Electric Power Equipment and Technology Co., Ltd. to complete the delivery and installation of 1.02 million smart meters and data concentrator units.
